Verre Eglomise or reverse gilding and painting on glass, Bamboo Forest Panels These bamboo forest panels for an entryway were executed using the technique of Verre Eglomisé, the process of gilding precious metals on the reverse side of glass, etching in a design and setting it off with color. Materials used were 22-karat gold leaf backed with acrylics. |
