The Kimbell Museum was one of the important works by architect Louis Kahn. In fact, we will be visiting during a special exhibit on his work. The full collection of the Museum includes examples from many periods of art history - probably some fine gilding!
A chartered bus will pick us up at the Vandergriff dormitory, about 9:30 AM (complete details will be in the conference folder) and we will be driven to the museum. Once there, we will spend part of the time on a private tour of the collections. There will be time to browse at will, and to enjoy lunch in one of the Kimbell's restaurants before we return, at about 2:30 PM.
