Welcome to the Society of Gilders 2017 conference at the University of Texas at Arlington.
HOW TO GET HERE:
Fly into Dallas/Ft Worth International Airport. It is 7 miles from campus. There are various ways to get to campus from the airport.
Drive: For directions, click on the upper left tab that says "driving directions" .
CAMPUS MAP We will be staying in Vandergriff Hall on the NE side, with classes and lectures in the Art and Art History building in the center of campus. It is about a mile walk, or there are shuttles available. We will have details in your conference folder, if not here.
On-campus lodging: We are staying in Vandergriff Hall, the newest dorm on campus. Each room has two single beds and a bathroom, as well as other furnishings. One set of sheets, blankets, towels and soap per person is in included in the price. Linens are changed every 7 days, or there is a laundry facility available. Rooms may be reserved from June 3-June 12, in case you wish to stay beyond the conference dates.
A single bed is $32/night. You may specify your roommate, or allow us to choose one.
A whole room is $64/night, for one or two people.
